The Canadian Trucking Alliance (CTA) has created another document with helpful resources for carriers. In addition to their COVID-19 tip-sheet, CTA has also collected information and resources related to labour practices and managing the workplace through this crisis.
The labour document — CTA-Covid-19-Labour – Resources_public — includes information from Employment and Social Development Canada, information on workers compensation, payroll guidance, the Emergency Relief Benefit, US Drug and Alcohol testing, amongst other relevant topics.
Carriers are also encourage to visit CTA’s COVID-19 page regularly for updates as new information becomes available.
