Iconic orator and transportation empowerment advocate Shirley Best will anchor this year’s Women with Drive summit with a special lunchtime address.
This luncheon keynote is part of the 10th anniversary of Women with Drive being held March 7, 2024, at the Westin Toronto Airport Hotel.
Once the shy retiring wife of a small-town trucking company owner, Best is now a renowned stress management expert, fashion icon, and Certified Credit Card Utilization Consultant. The proud author of a new soon-to-be best seller entitled, Everything I Ever Really Needed to Know About Life I Learned from Watching Law and Order, Best brings her experiences being “married to the industry” to this year’s event.
Dedicated to her cause, Best has traveled from New York to Newfoundland, Bermuda to Buffalo, Fort McMurray to Florida, and Ponoka to Puerto Vallarta raising public awareness of the challenges we all face on a daily basis. According to CBC, “Shirley, at her best, is simply a world-class act.”
“Women with Drive prides itself on bringing together diverse and distinctive perspectives,” says Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada. “Shirley Best is committed to raising morale by uniting and inspiring her audiences — we can’t wait to experience her wild and wonderful wisdom.”
