U.S. Customs and Border Protection announced test hours for the Raymond Port of Entry at the Raymond–Regway, Sask. border crossing will begin on April 18 and run for 60 days.
During the test period, the port will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m., seven days a week. The port will close at midnight on Sunday, April 17 and reopen at 6:00 a.m. on April 18.
Following the 60-day test period, CBP will make a determination for the most feasible hours of operations at the Raymond Port of Entry.”
The Raymond Port of Entry will retain its designation as a commercial port of entry. Cargo exports and north bound travelers will not be affected during the test hours.
CBP took into account comments and concerns voiced by the local community and stakeholders following an information town hall held on Feb 11. CBP will continue to accept public comments and input throughout the 60-day test period via email: raymond-testhours@cbp.dhs.gov or postal mail:
