CTA members Bison Transport of Winnipeg, Man., and C.A.T. Inc. of Coteau-du-Lac, Quebec, were given top prizes at the 2022 Truckload Carriers Association (TCA)Fleet Safety Awards in Orlando.
“This year, we received the most entries ever in the history of the Fleet Safety Awards, showing that TCA members are truly industry leaders when it comes to safety. FTC Transportation and Bison are very deserving of the grand prize as a symbol of their amazing efforts to improve safety on our roadways,” the association said.
Meanwhile, TCA and CarriersEdge named C.A.T Best Fleet to Drive For in the large carrier category.
Now in its 15th year, Best Fleets to Drive For, is an annual survey and contest that recognizes the North American for-hire trucking companies that provide the best workplace experience for their drivers. To be considered, fleets must be nominated by a company driver or independent contractor working with them, after which they are evaluated across a broad range of categories reflecting current best practices in human resources.
