Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT), Day & Ross, the Government of New Brunswick – Women’s Equality, the New Brunswick Department of Justice & Public Safety-Highway Safety Enforcement and the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association will be organizing a half-day human trafficking awareness event on May 24th in Moncton. This event will bring together trucking, bus, and truck stop industry stakeholders along with law enforcement and government agencies for training, network building, and to collaborate on shared strategies to combat human trafficking in our industries and communities.
Additionally, the Freedom Drivers Project, our mobile exhibit which includes a theatre station, actual artifacts from trafficking cases, and portraits of the real Truckers Against Trafficking, will be in attendance for participants to visit during the course of the event. For more information on the Freedom Drivers Project, please visit https://truckersagainsttrafficking.org/freedom-drivers-project-homepage/.
Registration is now open! Seats are limited, so please sign up at your earliest convenience. This is a free event and lunch will be provided. If you have any questions, you may contact Dylan Wecht at dwecht@truckersagainsttrafficking.org. We look forward to your attendance and participation.
