To keep up with current market pricing and industry needs, the Green Freight Program, administered by Natural Resources Canada (NRCan), is implementing changes to Stream 1 of their program based on an annual strategic review.
NRCan states that these changes will take effect on September 12, 2025 and will help the Program remain fiscally responsible.
These changes include:
- Changes to grant funding maximums per activity or device
- Retrofit Devices that are no longer available
- New eligible retrofit devices
- Changes to device names/descriptions
- Application process changes
