This is an industry-wide event (federal/provincial/territorial governments, carriers, academia, first responders, trucking associations, equipment manufacturers) and will include a series of presentations and discussions about cooperative truck platooning system (CTPS) testing, demonstration, and deployments.  Key regulatory, safety, policy, legal, operational and other considerations will be discussed including how other jurisdictions and organizations are addressing these issues to support on-road trials and demonstrations. The goal of the workshop is to engage in discussions about the steps required to facilitate CTPS deployments in Canada.  The workshop will also include CTPS expert presentations, round table discussions, keynote speakers, and breakout sessions.  For a draft agenda click here: DRAFT AGENDA – CTPS WORSHOP OCTOBER24-25_public.  There is no cost to attend this event.
