Public Health Agency of Canada is looking for Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to deliver a broad range of end-to-end logistics and support services for the execution of its COVID-19 vaccine logistics strategy.
The government appears to be preparing for production, storage and transportation of an approved COVID-19 vaccine in the near future.
Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) will be launching a procurement process shortly for this requirement. Canada intends to award a contract by November 23, 2020. PSPC will use an agile approach throughout this procurement process, which will proceed under compressed timelines.
This procurement process may contain multiple phases that will allow Canada to pre-qualify up to five suppliers who may be invited to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) or considered for directed contract(s). These phases may include, but are not limited to:
- One or more Bidders’ Conferences
- Invitation(s) to Qualify
- Review and Refine Requirements Phase
Canada may award multiple contracts for all or part of the requirement.
To launch this requirement, a virtual Bidders’ Conference will be held on October 30, 2020, at 12:30pm EDT. The Bidders’ Conference will include a consultation process with suppliers to discuss the requirement and allow for questions and answers. Canada expects to hold the Bidders’ Conference using platforms such as MS Teams or WebEx.
