CBSA and CBP to Host FAST Event at Detroit, Sept. 26-30

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) will be hosting a Free and Secure Trade (FAST) event at the Detroit, MI, port of entry from September 26-30.

The enrollment event is open to all conditionally approved applicants, including both new applicants and renewing members. Interviews are available to be scheduled immediately through the Trusted Traveler portal.

The CBSA has indicated to CTA that the previously announced FAST event at Pembina, ND, on September 12 is now full. Appointment slots remain available for two upcoming events at Calais, ME event taking place on September 12 and 16.

CTA is reminding potential applicants that if they enter the United States to complete their interview, they must meet all applicable travel requirements.

Canadian citizens and permanent residents returning to Canada can visit the COVID-19 Travel: Checklists for requirements and exemptions webpage to ensure they meet requirements to enter Canada, including the completion of the ArriveCAN application.
