<\/strong>Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) would like to inform you that\u00a0Stream 1 of the Green Freight Program<\/a>\u00a0will close its intake on February 6, 2026, or earlier if all available funding is fully allocated. This is a result of the significant demand and oversubscription the program has received from fleets across Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applications may continue to be submitted until February 6, 2026, or until all available funding is fully allocated, whichever comes first. Please note that program requirements remain unchanged: the project must already be completed when the application is submitted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While Stream 1 will close its intake earlier than planned, they encourage organizations to explore other NRCan initiatives that support fuel efficiency and emissions reductions, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
