The Standing Committee on Transport, Infrastructure and Communities (TRAN) is launching a study next month on Driver Inc., including a series of meetings throughout the fall. The results of the study are expected to be published by the end of the year. The Committee announced this development at a recent meeting:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Upon completion of its study on the Canada Infrastructure Bank\u2019s financing of new vessels for British Columbia Ferries, the committee will immediately undertake a new study on the phenomenon of \u201cDriver Inc.\u201d, comprising at least six meetings. The committee will summon the Minister of Transport, the Secretary of State for Labour, and the Secretary of State for Revenue to testify in this study for a minimum of one hour each. Other witnesses, chosen by the parties, will also be invited to appear.
