{"id":8872,"date":"2025-05-09T14:50:45","date_gmt":"2025-05-09T14:50:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/?p=8872"},"modified":"2025-05-09T14:51:06","modified_gmt":"2025-05-09T14:51:06","slug":"top-fleet-employers-lead-in-showcasing-trucking-as-a-great-place-to-work","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fr\/top-fleet-employers-lead-in-showcasing-trucking-as-a-great-place-to-work\/","title":{"rendered":"Top Fleet Employers Lead in Showcasing Trucking as a Great Place to Work\u00a0\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trucking HR Canada has been working with Top Fleet Employers over the past year to build a photo library depicting workers in their workplaces, engaged in their real everyday activities supporting Canada\u2019s supply chain.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThe research shows that realism is crucial,\u201d says Rebecka Freels, THRC\u2019s Director, Communications and Marketing. \u201cOur goal is to replace tired and over-used stock photos to show real people in our sector doing their jobs in real-life environments.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">These images are having an impact. THRC is using them in outward facing materials \u2014 helping to showcase the vast array of occupations, cross-sectoral impact, and great workplaces our sector offers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">THRC evidence-based research underscores the importance of job seekers seeing themselves in real life situations, and how depicting real people helps overcome stereotypes and sets the record straight on industry perceptions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trucking and logistics is an essential contributor to Canada\u2019s economy and the backbone of the supply chain. This proprietary photo library will help THRC continue to THRC worked with current TFEs across the country to gather the images.
