Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) has announced Stream 2 of the Green Freight Program focusing on fleet modernization and launching a competitive process to provide funding via a cost-shared non-repayable contributions for the following project types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Vehicle Repowering (up to $5M or 50% of total project costs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Purchase of low-carbon alternative fuel vehicles (up to $5M or 50% of the incremental costs)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Implementation of Logistical best practices (up to $1M or 50% of project costs)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In addition, the process will consider capital expenditures association with on-site refuelling and infrastructure as an eligible cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
