{"id":7170,"date":"2025-02-21T13:27:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-21T13:27:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/?p=7170"},"modified":"2025-03-19T13:37:39","modified_gmt":"2025-03-19T13:37:39","slug":"t4c-helps-charities-save-over-150k-in-transport-costs","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fr\/t4c-helps-charities-save-over-150k-in-transport-costs\/","title":{"rendered":"T4C Helps Charities Save Over $150k in Transport Costs"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In 2024, the Trucks for Change Network saved charities more than $150,000 in transportation \u2013money they used to fund charitable programs and provide food, said Betsy Sharples, Executive Director, Trucks for Change Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThis savings to their bottom line meant more disadvantaged Canadian families received the support they need,\u201d she said. \u201cAs we look back on our achievements this past year, we\u2019re grateful for the many contributions made toward our shared mission to deliver for communities across Canada,\u201d says Sharples.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The achievement was highlighted in T4C\u2019s&nbsp;Driving Change, Delivering Hope 2024 Impact The report shares the milestones, achievements and stories that reflect T4C\u2019s transformative work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The report, uploaded and hosted by Trucking HR Canada, can be <a href=\"https:\/\/issuu.com\/truckinghr.com\/docs\/2024_t4c_community_impact_report_01132025?fr=xKAE9_zU1NQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">viewed here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cOur network moved a wide variety of goods for Canadian charities, from wheelchairs, books, toys, and clothing, to emergency supplies and building materials \u2013 but mostly food this year- reflecting the state of food insecurity in our country at this time.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cThank you to our network for the trust you put in the Trucks for Change organization.
