The stellar line-up of government leaders, industry, technology, and leadership experts inspired, educated, and engaged all attendees and will have a profound impact on their work as they move into the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Among the highlights was a special address by the\u00a0<strong><em>Honourable Anita Anand<\/em><\/strong>, President of the Treasury Board of Canada, who talked about labour market issues and the importance of government investment in industry. The minister then participated in a fireside chat session moderated by Splinter.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Other notable speakers included\u00a0<strong><em>David Irvine<\/em><\/strong>, trusted leadership advisor and best-selling author;\u00a0<strong><em>Sean Stephens,\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>CEO of Treefrog Inc.; and\u00a0<strong><em>Shirley Best<\/em><\/strong>, Transportation Empowerment Advocate.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The day also included a\u00a0<strong>10 Years &#8211; 10 Perspective Panel<\/strong>\u00a0showcasing experts from across the country with unique perspectives on women in trucking, and Learning Highway sessions featuring specialized industry information and resources.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trucking HR Canada used the occasion of the Summit to formally release its 2024-2030 labour market outlook report,\u00a0<strong><em>Driving Progress \u2013 The New Road Ahead<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0The proprietary\u00a0labour market information in the report informs Trucking HR Canada programs that help meet the industry\u2019s HR challenges by providing relevant, accurate, timely, and actionable data.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Trucking HR Canada highlighted special achievements at the Summit, awarding the second Women with Drive Leadership Award to Angelique Magi of Element Fleet Management.
