The Canadian Trucking Alliance has confirmed that the Peace Bridge has reopened for traffic in both directions and that the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge will be reopening to all traffic around 5:00pm eastern time.<\/p>\n
Both bridge authorities will be working with the CBSA and CBP to extend their staffing as much as possible to deal with the backlog of traffic in both directions.<\/p>\n
CBSA Commercial Systems and processes continue to function normally in all modes.\u00a0CBSA is highly cognizant of the challenges that border disruptions present to trade chain participants in any mode, and we are working with government partners to minimize the border impacts.<\/p>\n
