Whether you are already using the Temporary Foreign Worker program, or are interested in understanding what is involved, we encourage member companies to take the opportunity to hear more from the program\u2019s compliance directorate. Included in this, will be an overview of the new\u00a0Recognized Employer Pilot (REP) and other recent program changes.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Session details:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Date: September 28, 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Time: 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM (EDT)<\/p>\n<p>Via: Microsoft Teams<\/p>\n<p>Open to all CTA and Provincial Association member companies and their staff.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The session will cover:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Service Canada\u2019s role in program compliance<\/li>\n<li>An overview of the inspection process and employer responsibilities<\/li>\n<li>An overview of the regulatory changes made September 26, 2022<\/li>\n<li>Common non-compliance in the program and the trucking industry<\/li>\n<li>Overview of the Recognized Employer Pilot (REP)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The presentation will last roughly 30 minutes and will be followed by a question and answer period for participants to ask questions about program compliance, the inspection process and any other questions they may have.<\/p>\n<p>A copy of the presentation will be shared with participants following the session. This session is available to all CTA and provincial association members.
