They reported brake-related data to CVSA for a one-day snapshot of the state of\u00a0brake systems\u00a0on commercial motor vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>In Canada, only 10% of the 894 total commercial motor vehicles inspected were placed out of service for brake-related violations, while the number was 11.5% in the US and 18% in Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>CVSA&rsquo;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cvsa.org\/programs\/operation-airbrake\/brake-safety-campaigns\/\">Brake Safety Day<\/a>\u00a0is an opportunity to gather additional data related to the health and wellness of brake systems on commercial motor vehicles. This year, CVSA focused on capturing data on brake lining\/pad violations.
