{"id":3474,"date":"2022-12-05T16:06:16","date_gmt":"2022-12-05T16:06:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/thrc-career-expressway-program-offers-trucking-employers-training-grants-and-wage-subsidies\/"},"modified":"2025-04-30T15:32:46","modified_gmt":"2025-04-30T15:32:46","slug":"thrc-career-expressway-program-offers-trucking-employers-training-grants-and-wage-subsidies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fr\/thrc-career-expressway-program-offers-trucking-employers-training-grants-and-wage-subsidies\/","title":{"rendered":"THRC Career Expressway Program Offers Trucking Employers Training Grants and Wage Subsidies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Trucking HR Canada, along with a coalition of industry partners including the Canadian Trucking Alliance, are working together to address the growing labour shortage in the trucking sector.<\/p>\n<p>Trucking HR Canada\u2019s Career Expressway supports employers in the trucking and logistics sector in accessing, training, and developing a skilled workforce.<\/p>\n<p>The program offers several streams of training grants and wage incentives to employers who are working to grow and strengthen their talent pool, and in turn contribute to a sustainable and competitive supply chain.<\/p>\n<p>Through Career ExpressWay, industry employers could be eligible to access up to $10,000 in training grants and wage incentives for new driving and in-demand non-driving roles. The financial wage incentives will support employers with recruitment for other in- demand occupations.<\/p>\n<p>Current streams include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Student work placement program;<\/li>\n<li>Youth employment incentives;<\/li>\n<li>Driver training and wage incentives to support economic recovery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>*THRC will be hosting an online webinar on Dec 7 to learn how the Career ExpressWay can help you fill critical roles. The webinar will include details on accessing both training grants and wage incentives.<\/p>\n<p>The program is open to all Canadian trucking and logistics employers who are looking to hire for driving and non-driving positions.
