Information about the upcoming closure:<\/p>\n
Starting December 2, 2022, Bridging North America will temporarily close northbound and southbound I-75 to support girder placement for the Gordie Howe International Bridge, US Port of Entry ramp. These weekend closures will be in place until December
\n5, 2022.<\/p>\n
Three Lane Closures on NB and SB I-75 between Springwells Street and Clark
\nStreet December 2, 2022:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Three left lanes on northbound I-75 will close between the Springwells Street off ramp and Clark Street.
\n\u2022 Three left lanes on southbound I-75 will close between the Clark Street off-ramp and the Springwells Street\/southbound I-75 on-ramp.<\/p>\n
Full Weekend Closure of NB I-75 between Springwells Street and Clark Street, and Springwells Street On-Ramp to Northbound I-75 December 2 \u2013 4, 2022:<\/p>\n
\u2022 Northbound I-75 will close between the Springwells Street off-ramp and Clark Street, from December 2, 2022, at 9 p.m. to December 4, 2022, at 10 a.m.
\n\u2022 All lanes of the Springwells Street on-ramp to northbound I-75 will close from December 2, 2022, at 9 p.m. to December 4, 2022, at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n
Closures of Springwells Street On and Off-Ramp, SB I-75, Vernor Highway On Ramp, and Ambassador Bridge On-Ramp December 2 \u2013 5, 2022:
\n\u2022 All lanes of the Springwells Street off-ramp from southbound I-75 will close.
\n\u2022 Southbound I-75 will close between the Clark Street off-ramp and the Springwells Street\/southbound I-75 on-ramp.
\n\u2022 The Vernor Highway on-ramp to southbound I-75 will close.
\n\u2022 All lanes of the Ambassador Bridge on-ramp to southbound I-75 will close.
\n\u2022 Detour routes are in place and include the following:<\/p>\n
I-75 Major Through Traffic Northbound I-75 major through traffic will be detoured around the project via northbound;
\nI-275 to eastbound I-96 for the northbound motorists.
\nSouthbound I-75 major through traffic will be detoured around the project via westbound I-96 to southbound I-275 for the southbound motorists.<\/p>\n
I-75 Traffic Between I-275\/I-75 and I-94\/I-75 (Local bound Traffic)
\nNorthbound Traffic: Traffic will be reduced to one lane and forced to exit at northbound
\nI-75\/Springwells Street exit Ramp, continue south on Springwells Street southbound,
\neast on Fort Street eastbound, north on Clark Street northbound, then rejoin northbound
\nI-75 through Clark\/northbound I-75 on-ramp.<\/p>\n
Southbound Traffic: Traffic will be reduced to one lane and forced to exit at Clark Street
\nsouthbound I-75 exit Ramp, then continue to southbound I-75 Service Drive, south on
\nClark Street, west on Fort Street, north on Springwells Street northbound, south on
\nsouthbound I-75 Service Drive then to Springwells Street on-ramp to southbound I-75.
\nDetour for Ambassador Bridge Ramp to Southbound I-75<\/p>\n
Traffic from the Ambassador Bridge to southbound I-75 will be detoured to I-96
\nwestbound, take the exit 191 to Michigan Avenue, west on Michigan Avenue, south on
\nthe southbound I-75 Service Drive, south on West Grand Boulevard, west on Fort
\nStreet, north on Springwells Street northbound, south on southbound I-75 Service Drive
\nthen to Springwells Street on-ramp to southbound I-75.<\/p>\n
Vernor Highway On-Ramp to Southbound I-75
\nSouthbound motorists from southbound I-75 Service Drive will be detoured to continue
\non southbound I-75 Service Drive, south on W. Grand Boulevard, west on Fort Street,
\nnorth on Springwells Street northbound, south on southbound I-75 Service Drive then to
\nSpringwells Street on-ramp to southbound I-75.<\/p>\n
