{"id":3006,"date":"2020-10-27T20:32:37","date_gmt":"2020-10-27T20:32:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/feds-looking-for-supply-chain-firms-to-assist-in-transport-of-future-covid-19-vaccine\/"},"modified":"2025-01-10T16:44:38","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T16:44:38","slug":"feds-looking-for-supply-chain-firms-to-assist-in-transport-of-future-covid-19-vaccine","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fr\/feds-looking-for-supply-chain-firms-to-assist-in-transport-of-future-covid-19-vaccine\/","title":{"rendered":"Feds Looking for Supply Chain Firms to Assist in Transport of Future COVID-19 Vaccine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Public Health Agency of Canada is looking for Logistics Service Providers (LSP) to deliver a broad range of end-to-end logistics and support services for the execution of its COVID-19 vaccine logistics strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The government appears to be preparing for production, storage and transportation of an approved COVID-19 vaccine in the near future.<\/p>\n<p>Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) will be launching a procurement process shortly for this requirement. Canada intends to award a contract by November 23, 2020. PSPC will use an agile approach throughout this procurement process, which will proceed under compressed timelines.<\/p>\n<p>This procurement process may contain multiple phases that will allow Canada to pre-qualify up to five suppliers who may be invited to participate in a Request for Proposal (RFP) or considered for directed contract(s). These phases may include, but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One or more Bidders\u2019 Conferences<\/li>\n<li>Invitation(s) to Qualify<\/li>\n<li>Review and Refine Requirements Phase<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Canada may award multiple contracts for all or part of the requirement.<\/p>\n<p>To launch this requirement, a virtual Bidders\u2019 Conference will be held on October 30, 2020, at 12:30pm EDT. The Bidders\u2019 Conference will include a consultation process with suppliers to discuss the requirement and allow for questions and answers.
