It also tells recipients to contact public health officials if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and click on a fake bit.ly link.<\/p>\n<p>CBSA tells CTA they are aware of the text being received by some commercial truck drivers.\u00a0 The agency confirms it is not a valid form of government communication and is working on messaging to travellers to address the issue.<\/p>\n<p>As essential workers, cross-border truck drivers <a href=\"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/trucking-remains-an-essential-service-as-canada-u-s-close-borders-to-non-essential-traffic\/\">remain exempt from the
