Bulletin: May 8"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CTA Issues Document on Guidelines to Reopening Provincial Economies<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>CTA has assembled the latest information on current plans for reopening provincial economies as the country attempts the slow process of recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The document contains timelines and a snapshot of what provinces are doing to gradually reopen business sectors and other activities, including links to the latest provincial plans and guidelines available to the public.<\/p>\n<p>Members are encouraged to contact their local provincial association for the latest information or if additional details are required.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Transport Canada provides additional guidance on use of PPE for commercial vehicle drivers<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The updated document assists in distinguishing the different types of personal protective equipment (PPE) and provide guidance with respect to their use as it pertains to commercial vehicle drivers.\u00a0 Specific information with respect to Face Masks, Gloves and Eye Protection is provided, including and instructional video on the proper removal of \/>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>TC Pilot Project to Test e-shipping Docs<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The following is a status update on Transport Canada\u2019s pilot project to test electronic shipping documents for the transportation of dangerous goods.<\/p>\n<p>With the current COVID-19 pandemic, this pilot will play a vital role in testing alternative ways to support physical distancing and eliminating the exchange of physical documents in both daily operations and emergency response situations.<\/p>\n<p>Our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tc.gc.ca\/en\/services\/dangerous-goods\/regulatory-sandbox-electronic-shipping-documents.html\">webpage<\/a>\u00a0has been updated with information on:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tc.gc.ca\/en\/services\/dangerous-goods\/regulatory-sandbox-electronic-shipping-documents\/participating-companies.html\">Participating Companies<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 view the equivalency certificates issued to participating companies.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tc.gc.ca\/en\/services\/dangerous-goods\/regulatory-sandbox-electronic-shipping-documents\/project-notices.html\">Project Notice<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 find the latest
