(Meeting briefing note: <a href=\"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/08\/Bank-of-Canada-Trucking-HR-Canada_public.pdf\">Bank of Canada Trucking HR Canada_public<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAll associations agree there are many common areas where federal public policy shifts can greatly benefit blue collar industries like transportation. Today was a wonderful opportunity for our industry and others to highlight how we can make Canada more competitive by addressing the many common opportunities across multiple sectors,\u201d said CTA president Stephen Laskowski.<\/p>\n<p>CTA also <a href=\"http:\/\/ontruck.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/07\/CTA-2019-2020-Infrastructure-Priorities_public.pdf\">highlighted various transportation projects <\/a>across Canada which would benefit the Canadian economy as well as the need for Canada\u2019s tax system to be reviewed, including enforcement tools to deal with matters like tax-avoidance scheme known as Driver Inc.
