The US Supreme Court will not hear OOIDA\u2019s lawsuit against the DOT\u2019s ELD mandate, effectively ending the court bid to overturn the impeding regulation.<\/p>\n
The Supreme Court\u2019s June 12 decision leaves in place a lower court ruling upholding the mandate and its Dec. 18 compliance deadline.<\/p>\n
The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, which spearheaded the lawsuit, says it will continue to press the issue in Congress.<\/p>\n
The American Trucking Associations welcomed the Court\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n
