{"id":1833,"date":"2015-10-22T14:56:52","date_gmt":"2015-10-22T14:56:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/us-eld-rule-in-final-stages\/"},"modified":"2025-01-10T16:51:29","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T16:51:29","slug":"us-eld-rule-in-final-stages","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fr\/us-eld-rule-in-final-stages\/","title":{"rendered":"US ELD Rule in \u2018Final Stages\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Scott Darling, acting administrator for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fmcsa.dot.gov\/\">Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration<\/a> (FMCSA), said the agency\u2019s long awaited final rule mandating electronic logging devices is in the \u201cfinal stages\u201d and should be \u201cout in the next several months.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Review of the rule is being wrapped by the Office of Management and Budget (OMB).<\/p>\n<p>In a speech given at the American Trucking Associations (ATA) annual Management Conference &amp;
