{"id":1820,"date":"2015-10-02T20:45:04","date_gmt":"2015-10-02T20:45:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fmcsa-revises-eobr-guidance-for-driver-corrections\/"},"modified":"2025-01-10T16:51:30","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T16:51:30","slug":"fmcsa-revises-eobr-guidance-for-driver-corrections","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fr\/fmcsa-revises-eobr-guidance-for-driver-corrections\/","title":{"rendered":"FMCSA Revises EOBR Guidance For Driver Corrections"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has revised its guidance pertaining to automatic onboard recording devices to give drivers a chance to correct inaccurate information.<\/p>\n<p>The guidance states that \u201cwithin certain limits, a driver must be allowed to review his or her AOBRD records, annotate and correct inaccurate records, enter any missing information, and certify the accuracy of the information.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>FMCSA says the AOBRD has to keep the original entries and reflect the date, time and name of the person making edits to the information.<\/p>\n<p>Driving time cannot be edited except with unidentified or team drivers and when driving time was assigned to the wrong driver or no driver at all, FMCSA says.<\/p>\n<p>The agency said it acknowledges that drivers \u201cneed to be able to make legitimate corrections to their electronic AOBRD records.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration has revised its guidance pertaining to automatic onboard recording devices to give drivers a chance to correct inaccurate information.
