{"id":1803,"date":"2015-08-31T03:22:02","date_gmt":"2015-08-31T03:22:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/amendments-to-vehicle-weights-and-dimensions-regulation-in-manitoba\/"},"modified":"2025-01-10T16:51:37","modified_gmt":"2025-01-10T16:51:37","slug":"amendments-to-vehicle-weights-and-dimensions-regulation-in-manitoba","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/cantruck.ca\/fr\/amendments-to-vehicle-weights-and-dimensions-regulation-in-manitoba\/","title":{"rendered":"Amendments to Vehicle Weights and Dimensions Regulation in Manitoba"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Government of Manitoba and the Manitoba Trucking Association (MTA) announced regulatory changes to the province\u2019s vehicle weights and dimensions regulations.<\/p>\n<p>The \u00a0changes include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The permissible length for aerodynamic devices (boat tails) increasing from 0.61 metres to 1.52 metres and will continue to be excluded from the measurement of overall length, provided the devices are collapsible.<\/li>\n<li>The permissible length for a B-train configuration increasing from 26 metres to 27.5 metres.
