Unique initiatives ranged from regular Multicultural Days honoring a fleet\u2019s diverse workforce, to charitable programs that actively engaged employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Fleets of every size were rated on topics including employee recognition, compensation, lifestyle, employee engagement, wellness, professional development, recruitment and retention, according to the group.\u00a0Related reviews included a comprehensive online application, hard-copy submissions, employee surveys and follow-up interviews.<\/p>\n<p>This year, ratings were also expanded to reflect a fleet\u2019s active involvement in charitable or environmental initiatives, which Trucking HR Canada said are particularly valued by younger \u201cGeneration Y\u201d employees.<\/p>\n<p>The 2015 honors were awarded to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Atlantica Diversified Transportation Systems Inc. (ADTS) \u2013 New Brunswick<\/li>\n<li>Bison Transport &#8211; Manitoba<\/li>\n<li>Challenger Motor Freight &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>DJ Knoll Transport Ltd. &#8211; Saskatchewan<\/li>\n<li>Drive Logistics &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Edge Transportation &#8211; Saskatchewan<\/li>\n<li>Erb Transport &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Home Hardware Stores Limited &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>J&amp;R Hall Transport &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>JG Drapeau Ltd. &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Kindersley Transport &#8211; Saskatchewan<\/li>\n<li>Kriska Transportation &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Liberty Linehaul Inc. &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Linamar Transportation Inc. &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Logikor &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>MacKinnon Transport &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Meyers Transport &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Ryder Canada \u2013 Supply Chain Solutions &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>SLH Transport &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>The Brick &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Transpro &#8211; Ontario<\/li>\n<li>Triton Transport &#8211; British Columbia<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cWe hope to see an even longer list in the third annual program. There is no limit to the number of fleets that can be recognized,\u201d said Angela Splinter, Chief Executive Officer of Trucking HR Canada. \u201cNot every application is successful, but we encourage every fleet to continue with ongoing investments in human resources practices. It makes business sense, and it will bring you closer to recognition by Top Fleet Employers.
