Kellie Leitch, Canada\u2019s Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, will be among a growing list of high-profile speakers at Trucking HR Canada\u2019s Women with Drive Leadership Summit.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honoured to welcome the Minister to our event,\u201d says Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada. \u201cHer participation demonstrates the federal government\u2019s commitment to the Women with Drive initiative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The March 5 event, hosted at the Sheraton Toronto Airport Hotel and Conference Centre, is designed for everyone who recruits, retains or mentors women in Canada\u2019s trucking industry.<\/p>\n<p>The agenda includes panels and presentations by women who hold senior roles in the trucking industry, representatives of other industries looking to draw women into non-traditional roles, and a keynote presentation by Brenda Andress, commissioner of the Canadian Women\u2019s Hockey League.<\/p>\n<p>Topics include mentorship programs, best practices from other industries, the Women with Drive Project, personal success stories, and steps to hone leadership skills. There will also be a networking reception to salute International Women\u2019s Day.<\/p>\n<p>Seating is limited.
