CTA Front and Centre at Plaid for Dad Launch

Prostate Cancer Canada and tireless Plaid for Dad advocate, Rocco Rossi, officially launched the popular fundraising campaign to kick prostate cancer in the butt.

CTA was proud to take part by doing some media interviews at Toronto’s City Hall to promote the event.img_1894

Meanwhile, CTA’s Plaid for Dad efforts are in full swing. Driven by carriers nationwide, CTA hopes to surpass last year’s benchmark set by OTA (which was crowned the #1 Plaid For Dad’ fundraising workplace/organization in Canada last year) and keep the fundraising title within the trucking industry.

To make this a reality, this year CTA member carriers and the provincial associations are urged to funnel all donations through a single CTA fundraising portal on the Plaid for Dad website. Just click here to make a personal or corporate donation.

Some provincial associations and individual carriers have announced staff events like BBQs to raise money. A few are setting up donation drives at golf tournaments, board meetings and truck shows. Other carriers and suppliers are supporting the campaign by getting their trucks and trailers wrapped in Plaid for Dad messaging.
