CTA Congratulates Wesley Armour for Order of New Brunswick

The Canadian Trucking Alliance congratulates Armour Transportation Systems’ and longtime CTA board member Wes Armour on being named the 2021 recipient of the Order of New Brunswick.

Armour has been a well-respected resident of Moncton, N.B. for over 45 years, and has been highly engaged in his community, supporting various non-profit organizations, creating scholarship programs and seeking opportunities to inspire budding entrepreneurs.

He has chaired several capital fundraising campaigns, in support of the Friends of the Moncton Hospital, the YMCA of Greater Moncton, and Resurgo Place (the new home of the Moncton Museum and the Transportation Discovery Centre).

“His focus on giving back, whether through contributions to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), in-kind support of special charity events, or encouraging the many employees of Armour Transportation Systems to live their healthiest lives by offering a wellness program entitled Shift Gears, Live Well, has earned Mr. Armour well-deserved recognition at local, regional and national levels, by his industry peers and third-party organizations,” read a statement.“With his desire to continuously improve the lives of others, Wes Armour is a great ambassador for Moncton, N.B.”
