On May 4, the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association and the Trucking Human Resource Sector Council Atlantic will be hosting a roundtable discussion in St. John’s, NL to listen to challenges that Newfoundland and Labrador carriers are facing, including driver recruitment and retention.
APTA members and industry players are invited to attend the morning session to discuss these challenges and how our organizations can better work together to help you. THSRC Atlantic will discuss programs and funding opportunities that may assist carriers in recruitment. Organizers also want to hear what challenges you are facing when it comes to attracting foreign workers, licensing red tape, training, and onboarding, etc.
