Arnold Bros Sets Plaid For Dad Goal

Arnold Bros. Transport Ltd. has set a fundraising target of $20,000 for the 2022 Plaid for Dad campaign to fight prostate cancer.

Arnold Bros. has raised over $85,400 since joining the cause in 2017 and is aiming for over $100,000 total after June 17.

The company is encouraging the trucking industry to join the campaign – which is organized by the Canadian Cancer Society – and asking all colleagues to wear plaid to work on Friday June 17 leading up to Father’s Day.

“This year we’re looking to make a difference again by raising funds to continue groundbreaking prostate cancer research and raise awareness through our six week campaign,” the company says.

Plaid for Dad has quickly become a fun and easy way for Canadians to celebrate dad and help the 1 in 8 men who will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. When detected early, survival is close to 100 percent.

Canadian Trucking Alliance and various carrier members have finished first in the fundraising effort each year since the campaign’s inception. to battle prostate cancer. In total, the trucking industry has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for the cause.
