NRCan Accepting Company proposals For Energy Manager Program

The Honourable Amarjeet Sohi, Minister of Natural Resources Canada announced the launch of a new Energy Manager Program.

The Energy Manager Program is now accepting project proposals.

The Energy Manager Program will help identify and adopt energy efficiency solutions by offering funding to hire energy managers and undergo energy assessments for industrial, commercial and institutional facilities, and fleets. This aims to reduce energy use, operating costs, and greenhouse gas emissions.

The Program is available to small and medium-sized enterprises, municipalities, universities, colleges, schools, hospitals, and non-profit organizations that are duly incorporated or formed under the laws applicable in Ontario, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, or New Brunswick, and are located in one of these provinces where the federal carbon pricing backstop applies. For more details and how to apply, check out the Energy Manager Program.

The deadline for submitting a project proposal is September 30, 2019.
