“This is great news from Marine Atlantic as they will be accommodating our industry and open up their yard for drivers while they wait for the next sailing during weather delays. Our drivers are thankful for this change and have one less stress to deal with during these challenging times. Thanks from Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association and its members,” said Jean Marc Picard, President, APTA.
The Canadian Trucking Alliance also applauds Marine Atlantic and all members of the supply chain that are developing driver friendly policies during the COVID-19 crisis and encourage these organization to continue these policies after the crisis.
